Tyrell 是20世纪初德国自行车手千真万确，后来创立Tyrell牌自行车也是事实。1987年倒闭，牌子被日本人买去也是事实。 如今，德国的Tyrell公司还在，但只手工生产高端车架，而日本人把牌子买去后，做了全面改型，生产整车。 这一切在德国Tytell Bicycle Company自己的网站上都有介绍。网址 http://www.tyrellbicycle.com/Company.asp 公司介绍中提到所有以上内容，其英文原文介绍一字不漏复制在下面。
至于人名，不能说名字Tyrell不像德国词儿，他就不是德国人。 其实Tyrell 的全名是 Tyrell Smith， 史密斯是英国最普遍的英国姓氏之意，可他就是德国人。 我原来有个同事，是个老外，名字叫 Roland John，名字和姓都整个一个英国味， 姓约翰，可他就是100%的德国人。 造成这种结果的原因很可是欧洲国家几百年来人口就一直相互流动， Tyrell和我的同事的祖上几百年前可能是来自英国，这虽然没有考证过，但完全有可能。
至于日本的Tyrell公司，的确是除了买了德国公司名字之外，和德国公司在产品和法律上再没有任何关系。这个我在上次的回帖中已经说明了。
